About Thomas Deakin
Thomas Deakin is a 23-year-old professional rugby league hooker who most recently played for the Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League. As of early 2026, Deakin is a free agent after having served a three-month anti-doping suspension that concluded in August 2025.
Ian Watson was impressed in what he saw of the young hooker, and decided to offer Deakin a contract to bring him to the Giants for 2024, with him not counting on the Quota.
Tom has a promising career ahead of him, with Giants fans eager to see a glimpse of the young hooker.
